Will I need to do any maintenance on my Patio to keep it looking its best?

Yes, we suggest you keep your gutters free of dirt and leaves and wash the underside of the Patio at least three times a year. This will help your Patio look great all year round.

How much deposit is required and how do I get the job underway?

A deposit of 6.5% is required for us to proceed with the Shire process. We will also need a Site plan of your property as it sits on your block and a neighbours’ comment form, which must be signed if the Patio is inside the Shire’s setback requirements.

What is the difference between a kissing gutter and box gutter system?

We recommend a Kissing Gutter System as this keeps the Patio water separate from the house water and this can eliminate any issues you may have with adding extra water to your house. The Box Gutter System combines the Patio water and house water together. This can be a problem if leaves blow in and cover the mouth of your downpipe as this may cause overflow into your eaves. How can I make my Payments?

One Stop Paito Shop allows several options to pay for your Patio. We take cheques, cash and most credit cards, which can be used to pay in person or over the phone.

Unfortunately, we currently we do not offer direct payments into our bank account.

What is the difference between a Gable and a Dome style Patio?

Firstly the shape is different with the Gable having a pitched roof and the Dome a curved roof. A Gable Patio has a colorbond roof with skylights to allow light into the area. The Dome Patio has a plastic roof which allows light through the whole roof area.

Will we be kept informed with the progress our job?

Yes, as soon as we receive the building licence we will call you to inform you that your first progress Payment is due and your job will proceed with the ordering stage.

We will call you again three weeks before Installation to advise you of the delivery date of the materials and the date of Installation.

Do I need to be home during the Installation of my Patio?

No, we only require entry to your backyard and access to power. How this happens will be discussed when your job is scheduled for Installation so you can organise your time without any concerns.

How long will the process take from start to finish?

We can guarantee that once your job has come out of Shire it will take no longer than six weeks until your Patio is installed.

Which is better a Patio or Pergola and what is the difference?

A Pergola is made out of wood and can look bulky and the timber requires regular maintenance otherwise it will break down over time. There is a constant issue of termites and regular painting may be required to keep it looking its best. A Patio that is made of steel offers uncluttered lines due to the steels spanning capabilities.
